(NEW YORK, NY)—Former Investment Banker turned Designer Timo Weiland presented his eponymous label in presentation yesterday showcasing what is described as the Age of Innocence meets Gangs of New York. The designer produced 23 mens and womenswear looks that were youthful but still hinted at maturation. The mixture of textures (namely tweed and courderoy) for menswear was easy. The colors were rich (olive, aubergine, maroon, dark grey), the silhouette layered. (NEW YORK, NY)—REESE’S PIECES. Although Tracy Reese’s Fall/Winter collection was somewhat of a departure from previous – highlighting more textures, subdued colors, and emphasizing embellishments, she still provided her fan base with great feminine dresses.

Focused on “an eclectic mix of urban and rural style,” Ms. Reese showed that she has more up her hem than just flowing and flirty dresses.  Layering the looks with heavy knitted sweaters, large thick scarves, and arm and leg warmers – she then paired them with chic dresses that any city-dwelling girl would like. Fur trimming (faux they were), jacquard material and bejeweled embroidery fused the two different sensibilities into one.
