Jones Magazine’s newly appointed Beauty Editor, Felicia Walker Benson, rolled up her sleeves and put newly developed and “tried and true” products to the test based on efficacy, wearability, enjoyment of usage and other criterion.

“The idea behind BIB awards list was to cut through the overblown promises, sales pitches, complicated ingredient lists and offer a highly edited list of products that truly deliver,” explains Jones Magazine Editor in Chief and star of Centric’s Keeping Up With The Joneses, Tracey Ferguson.

To be—let alone remain—a fly female entrepreneur in today’s society takes guts. So what is the secret for those women who manage to fly above the rest? CentricTV.com contributor Renae Bluitt is out to find it out. A mover and shaker in her own right, Bluitt will be staging Facing Your Fears: Tales of a Fly Female Entreprenuer, a round table discussion that will be an up-close and personal forum with five of New York’s brightest female go-getters. Jones Magazine Editor-in Chief and star of Centric’s Keeping Up With the JonesesTracey Ferguson, famed international deejay Jakissa “DJ Kiss” Taylor, designer of fashion brand Boxing Kitten Maya Lake, Jodie Patterson, owner of Georgia, and Karen Tappin-Saunderson, creator of Karen’s Body Beautiful salon and product line; will sit on the event’s panel. This event marks the first event staged by Bluitt and her In Her Shoes website.
