Made with tough love, Whoop Ash was created as an organic and honest approach to body care to maximize and ensure overall health, wellness and appearance of the skin. With Spring just around the corner, who doesn’t want to show off radiant skin?

Actor, author and radio show star Steve Harvey has been pubilcally following “21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox.” So far the multi-hyphenated comedian has dropped 13 pounds and is not done yet. Written  by New York Times Bestselling authors, Dr. Roni DeLuz and James Hester, this detox diet focuses on not chewing. You drink all of your meals.

In the first seven days, Harvey dropped an impressive 10.4 pounds. He’s currently on day ten and feeling strong enough to take his wife and kids to their favorite Atlanta restaurant and sip his vegetable juices and soup while his family enjoyed their food.

“This is the best program I’ve ever done. I’m feeding my body every two hours and giving my body more nutrients then ever.” Says the star who has been unofficially endorsing the book. When you’re as busy as Steve, it can be hard to treat your body in the best possible way. Last night some of New York City’s hottest influencers assembled at the swanky Pranna Restaurant and Bar for the 2010 GREY GOOSE® and UPTOWN Magazine “Rising Icon” Awards. The highly coveted award was created to recognize and honor men and women who have positively impacted their industry and defy status quo.

This year’s award recipients—of whom included Jodie Patterson and Kiara Ellozy co-founders of high-end boutique/salon Georgia, NBC news anchor and journalist Maurice DuBois; and the founder of Middleton Law Group Matt Middleton, ESQ—were at home amongst colleagues, family and friends as they made their heartfelt acceptance remarks.

“One of the special things about being an entrepreneur is the ability to put your personal touch on everything you do,” said Kiara Ellozy, co-owner of Georgia Boutique.

The celebratory evening was definitely an inspiring one filled with love, mutual respect and admiration. Enjoy the pics from the event:
