Several nights ago BET/CENTRIC TV and Johnson & Johnson came together to celebrate the conclusion of season one of their new hit show “Lens on Talent”. “Lens on Talent” is a contest focused on emerging filmmakers of color vying for the opportunity to win $100k courtesy of Johnson & Johnson . The film challenge drew hundreds of applicants and was narrowed down to 10 finalist, all of whom were on hand for the big announcement.

Blair Underwood (host of the upcoming season 2 of “Lens on Talent”) was in the house to witness the drama unfold as Boris Schaarschmidt, Angela Perkins and Phyllis Toben Bancroft were awarded the $100k grand prize for their film “Spent”. Congrats to the winner and look out for season two.
