From R&B to rock, to hip-hop to gospel; this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival (September 16th-18th) will be filled with an eclectic group of artists and performers—more so than festivals past.
Headlining the main concerts will be R&B icon Stevie Wonder and superstar rapper Kanye West. Other artist slated to perform at the three day event include: Nas and Damien “Jr Gong” Marley, Santigold, Big Boi, Mavis Staples, Theophilus London, Cee-Lo and Centric Select’s artist Aloe Blacc.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the diverse music series.

Serving up Motown-era tinged music, Centric favorite Raphael Saadiq took to the stage of ABC late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to perform “Heart Attack” and the title track of his new album, “Stone Rollin’”.
Never one to bore with his music videos (does his “She’s Single” video come to mind?), Raheem Devaughn, has released a new video for his single “Hopeless Romantic,” the latest track to be lifted from his latest album, “The Love & War MasterPeace”.
The video features a special intro guest and is shot with unique graphic images.

Wrestling fans were shocked when R&B artist Mya appeared from behind the arena curtains to sing ’Happy Birthday’ to WWE superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The wrestler turned actor (Fast Five in theaters now) was all smiles before his match while the Grammy-winning singer serenaded the entire crowd. Check out the performance below.

Since releasing their sixth studio album Something Big, the R&B/gospel duo Mary Mary have paved a spiritual and soulful way for women with their heaven sent lyrics.
The three-time Grammy winning sisters have returned with a natural sounding collection of music that grasps the concept of overcoming. With tracks like “Something Bigger” and “Survive,” the two singers have, yet again, created an album with their unique sound that’s topped the Hot Gospel and Billboard charts.

The highly anticipated Watch The Throne album from superstar rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West is said to feature pop singer and rising star Bruno Mars for their next single. Mr. Carter’s other half Beyonce has also been added to the song’s leading cast.
‘Lift Off’ is rumored to be the first true single for the album even though Ye and Hov’s ‘H.A.M.’ track released months ago. Watch The Throne originally held a last year release date but has now been pushed back due to last minute changes. Stay tuned.

In dedication to the original King of Pop, Michael Jackson, R&B/pop singer Chris Brown releases a video for his single ”She Ain’t You.”
The song combines Brown’s voice and a sample of MJ’s classic “Human Nature” song. “She Ain’t You” is off of the singer’s fourth studio album F.A.M.E. which is in stores nationwide. Check out the video below.

Centric presents the premiere of Bilal’s latest video, ”Little One.” The song, featured on the singer’s latest album “Airtight’s Revenge”, is a tribute to his son, who suffers from Autism, and a call for public awareness of the disorder.
