Jamie Foxx is going back to his comedic roots. The award-winning singer/actor is cooking up a new sketch-comedy series called “The Jamie Foxx Project” which will air on FOX. Much like “In Living Color”—the Keenan Ivory Wayans produced show that helped launch Foxx’s career—the show will feature pop culture spoofs and skits as well as regular appearances from today’s top funny men and women. Comedian Affion Crockett, a cast member of Nick Canon’s “Wild ‘N Out”, has signed on to co-star and co-produce the series. FOX has not yet announced a date for the show’s premiere.
