“Girl, if I could be anything in this world…I would love to be your clothes”—sounds like words of love from Bishop Don Magic Juan, but it’s the opening line of Ruben Studdard’s new single, “Wear Me.” The latest single off his upcoming album, Letters From Birmingham, finds the singer yearning to lay his head on your chest “like the necklace on your neck.”
Does this song wear well or does it wear you out (and not in the good way)?
