Don't Sleep In 2K10!
Bradd Marquis had us convinced of his “who’s got next” talent when his gravel voice and gravitas won our BET “Wild Out Wednesdays” in 2007. That same year, the Apollo-winner also won the Big Apple’s heart with the heartfelt, NYC hit, “Radio.” It was quiet for a time thereafter, but Marquis has been popping up a lately both in Manhattan and out. The matinee idol from Trenton, NJ lends his sincere, gospel-laden baritone to the SoulBounce’s free MJB tribute Men Love Mary: A Tribute to My Life and now he’s offering long-time fans and new devotees a little something right in time for Xmas. For those who haven’t heard of his urban AC debut, What You Need, drop a $1.98 for “Radio” and the remix version of the title track, and you’ll be convinced of the tall one’s promise. A listen to this free holiday gift of love from the soul man with the plan should do the rest.
