With the start of each new month comes new magazine covers. Centric and SoulSessions favorite—Usher–landed two covers. Impressive right?

Usher covered VIBE with an aviation theme. Could it be an homage to his career taking flight again after (Here I Stand anyone?) Or maybe its a nod to his personal life? Usher is no stranger to having his life imitate his art (his relationship with Chili was detailed in Confessions) and his latest album Raymond v Raymond is no different. In this cover story, Ursh talks Tameka, career rebounds and his support of his R&B successors.

From rough and rugged to dashing and dapper, Usher joined forces with top urban stars–Mary J. Blige, Samuel L. Jackson, Nia Long and Soul Train Awards 2010 co-host Taraji P. Henson—to celebrate Ebony’s 65^th Anniversary. This issue will  include a nod to past covers with Duke Eillington, Diana Ross, Richard Roundtree and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. reimaged with modern day celebrities like Regina King, Yolanda Adams and John Legend. —Danielle Young

Check out the surprise new track “You’re So Fire,”  from R&B  heartthrob Usher. After lighting up the stage with an explosive performance at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, Mr. Raymond continues to hypnotize his fans with bona fide love songs. Unfortunately, the unreleased single didn’t receive the green light for the superstar’s Raymond vs. Raymond or Versus EPs, but it’s very difficult to let good music go to waste. Sound off on whether or not you feel the soulful ballad deserved a place on either album.

Usher – You’re So Fire

While his #1 Billboard single “OMG” may be getting all the pop glory, Usher’s #2 Billboard Hot 100 quiet storm hit, “There Goes My Baby” has been making waves for 26 weeks at radio and among fans since day one. Much like his last hit ballad, the Rell-penned “Here I Stand;” This Rico Love produced track is strictly a grown and sexy affair. This steamy video gives the urban AC track its due diligence. Did Usher just add more heat to your summer?
