Its been nearly 15 years since Tupac Shakur was fatally shot in Las Vegas, but the intrigue surrounding his life and music still remains extremely high. Unsurprisingly, countless documentaries have tried to unveil the man underneath the thug. While many have failed to present any new insight, there are some that do. One being 1995’s “Tupac Uncensored and Uncut-The Lost Prison Tapes.” Recently released on DVD, the doc features unseen and unedited extended interviews with Pac while he served time in the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York—following sexual assault charges. The candid interviews display Shakur’s opinions on everything from his mother to the American prison system. Quite possibly this is a definite must-see for fans and music lovers alike.
Catch Shakur in the FLICK CENTRIC presentation of “Gang Related” today at 3 PM (est) only on Centric.
