The glitz and glamour of the modeling world is one that most aspiring young men and women who live and breathe fashion strive for. What most don’t get to experience is the struggle and sacrifices made to make it to the top (especially those of African-American male models). “Model City” delves into the world of four top black male models—Wendell, Ibrahim, Nelson, and Zeric—as they share their personal stories and tribulations while trying to become successful models at New York modeling agency RED NYC.

Wendell is the resident “It” boy. His exotic facial features and undeniable sexual appeal  has captured the attention of many fashion houses including: Thierry Muglier, Hermes, and Kris Von Asche. Ibrahim encompasses everything a man should exemplify, beauty and brains; to add to his arsenal he is an artist as well as an in demand model. Nelson is what the modeling world needs, an urban look with a high fashion appeal. He is on his way to superstardom if his attitude and personal life doesn’t get in the way first. Finally we have Zeric, who is new to the REDNYC modeling agency. A recent transplant from Miami , he is sure to cause some trouble with the ladies in the Big Apple.
